Federico Durand - Jardín de invierno (SPEKK)
El músico argentino afincado en La
Cumbre, ciudad de la provincia de Córdoba, nos entrega un nuevo trabajo que
realizó en un bucólico paraje en donde Federico crea su música a base de
guitarra acústica, sintetizador análogo, cintas de loops, micrófonos de contacto,
contestadora automática, cajas de música y pequeños objetos, entre otros.
Este es el segundo disco de este
año después de “A través del Espejo” editado por 12k. La cuidada edición de
este álbum en Spekk incluye postales dibujadas por Cecilia Afonso Esteves con
una bella estética minimalista, junto a notas en español, japonés e inglés. El
diseño y la música van de la mano en un despliegue de pequeñas y sutiles
melodías.
Melancólico,
íntimo, silencioso y como siempre los sonidos flotan en el aire y dibujan
pequeños remolinos que arrojan pequeños destellos sobre la luz del día.
Sobrecoje tanta dulzura en medio del mundanal ruido que amenaza nuestra
tranquilidad para contemplar lo simple, lo pequeño y fragil que también tiembla
de belleza.

Argentinean
musician based in La Cumbre, city of the province of Córdoba delivers a new
work that he performed in a bucolic place where Federico creates his music
based on acoustic guitar, analog synthesizer, tapes of loops, microphones of
contact, answering machine, boxes of music and small objects, among others.
This
is the second album in this year after “A través del Espejo” released by 12k.
The careful edition of this album on Spekk includes postcards drawn by Cecilia
Afonso Esteves with a beautiful minimalist aesthetic, along with liner notes in
Spanish, Japanese and English. The design and music go hand in hand with a
display of small, subtle melodies.
Melancholic, intimate, silent and as always the sounds float in the air
and draw small swirls that throw small flashes in the light of day. It touch so
much sweetness in the midst of the mundane noise that threatens our tranquility
to contemplate the simple, small and fragile that also trembles of beauty.
